The shooting range at Cu Chi gives tourists the opportunity to shoot any of the weapons that were used in the America-Vietnam War. Many young tourists pay $1 per round to shoot automatic weapons such as M-16's, Browning automatic rifles, and machine guns.
I bought an M-16 round for Mom and made her shoot it. She was a sport.
At the end of the Cu Chi Tunnels tour, a vendor offered "snake wine" for sale. This is basically a dead snake in a bottle of cheap whiskey. Strangely enough, that's just what it tasted like — I couldn't wait to get back to the hotel that afternoon and brush my teeth.
