Buster's van was the least-damaged house or vehicle in the family. We found it parked under the tree where he had left it, with no major body damage. The windshield wasn't even cracked, and a few drooping branches on the tree were the only sign of the hurricane's passing. Deep water flowed through this area, moving many nearby houses off of their foundations, but Buster's van stayed rooted to its spot.
The picture on the right shows Buster and his van during more peaceful times. It's parked on the very same spot; Buster's guests are Megan, Marsha, and Linda.
