This woman was working a rice field near the Angkor temples.
The day before, our guide Reth had pointed out another woman working a field with a water buffalo, and I told him I wanted to take her picture. We walked out into the field, and she smiled as we approached. She continued to smile while I snapped a few pictures of the water buffalo, but when Reth told her I wanted a picture of her with it she turned around and wouldn't face us until we left.
So this time I didn't ask. I quietly approached from behind a row of trees and snapped two pictures of this woman before she saw me and turned away. Then, on the way back to the car, I also got a picture of a man with two water buffalos nearby.
